
Robert Murphy serves as Academic Dean and Secondary Natural Philosophy teacher at Arete Hall.
He holds an M.Div. from Covenant Theological Seminary and an M.A. in Mathematics from Webster University bringing fifteen years of experience in STEM and Theology education to the classical classroom.
Over his career, Robert has taught more than one thousand students, chaired both STEM and Theology departments, and speaks nationally at ACCS and SCL conferences. His work is marked by rigorous academics, integrated faith, and strong teacher formation.
At Arete Hall, Robert is passionate about helping students see mathematics and theology not as separate pursuits, but as twin windows into the order and beauty of God's creation. He is committed to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment marked by academic rigor and faithful formation.
Robert’s favorite hobby is inventing new languages. He serves as a Ruling Elder at King's Covenant Reformed Church.

He also serves as Head Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Regents School of Austin, "the Creator's Game," being his favorite sport, and was named Central Texas Class B Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2021.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts (History, Philosophy) from the University of Northern Colorado and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston. He has four years of experience as a classroom teacher. Bill has spent more than thirty years studying theology and economics and applying them to his public policy work on local, state, and national issues. This includes 10 years of experience in the Texas Legislature and two state agencies.
At Arete Hall, Bill is passionate about applying God's Word to the study and understanding of the Humanities. He is committed to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment that fosters growth of his students’ faith and helps them identify and navigate the various challenges of living in the fallen world.
Bill is married to Kelly. They live in Hays County with their son, William, and attend King's Cross Reformed Church. He enjoys scooter/bike rides with his family, long walks with Salem (their black lab), watching the Houston Astros and Texas Aggies, and writing about societal/public policy challenges from a Reformed perspective.

She holds a B.S. from the University of Texas and a certification in classical education. Over her seventeen year career as an educator, Bianca has served as a homeschool instructor, classroom teacher in Latin, Logic, Natural History, Bible, and English, a department head of foreign language and humanities, and dean of academics at Veritas Academy. She was a founding board member and director of curriculum and teacher development for Trinity Classical School in Houston, and for nine years directed Biblically grounded after-school programs with Side by Side Kids within the Austin Independent School District (AISD). Her work is marked by rigorous classical formation, faithful teacher development, and a deep commitment to the liberal arts.
At Arete Hall, Bianca is passionate about cultivating wisdom, virtue, and intellectual curiosity in students, grounded in the conviction that all truth comes from God. She is committed to helping students pursue truth, goodness, and beauty while forming the character and discernment to glorify God and serve others with purpose, humility, and joy.
Outside the classroom, Bianca enjoys children's literature, traveling, dancing, baking, and the occasional day at Schlitterbahn with her family.
